Description

“Alright, everyone got what they need to do? Good!”

Quintin’s voice wasn't as earth trembling as his flygon friend’s but it was enough to reach through the group of merchants and make everyone to clamor.

Just a few minutes ago, the whole group was ready to search for diamonds in the Twilight Crossing but plans change. And this time the reason for that was the sudden forest fire and an attack from those who caused it, raiders.

Needless to say, this was a new and nervous situation to most merchants. Many of them were uneasy and trying to come up with a plan hastily. Some of the merchants ran past the wagons to protect them from the rear.

Inside one of those wagons was team Blue Moon. RGB the kecleon, leader of the team, observed this chaos quietly. Behind him was his debtor and thus his forced colleague, Danny the sableye. The imp peeked over the kecleon’s shoulder and watched all the pokemon run around.

“Heh, look at them run like headless torchic.” He smirked.

“They are there to protect the wagons.” RGB replied, without giving his partner a look.

“Judging how they are doing now, they need all the help they need.” Danny criticized them.

“You are absolutely right.”

RGB replied and kicked Danny out from the wagon. The sableye fell on ground face flat.

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT CRAP?!”

Danny rose up and screeched. The wagon was rolling farther and farther, leaving Danny along with other merchants behind to defend the escaping wagons.

“Sorry Danny! But I figured your talent is better used there on the battlefield!” RGB shouted. “See you outside the forest! And don’t you dare die there! You still owe me money!”

Danny answered by making a rude hand gesture. No point shouting after the wagon that had already disappeared from his sight. The sableye cracked his neck and turned around to see what he had to face. Around him were pokemon, from adventurers and merchants’ guilds most assumingly. Some of them seemed more experienced while others were already battling to not show how nervous they were. A group of raiders was approaching. Danny breathed loudly through his nostrils and a sly grin appeared on his purple face as he exhaled. His diamond eyes shined.

“Well, the scale face is not wrong. My talent is better used here…”

Danny whispered and shadowy claws extended from his fingers.

“LET’S DO THIS SHIT!”

Danny screamed and leaped towards the raiders among a few other brave pokemon. His claws hit one unlucky pokemon. Danny didn’t see who he hit, he didn’t really care. He landed his hand on the ground, it disappeared and a long shadow slid along the surface, hitting another unlucky raider. Shadow sneak dealt quick damage. Danny quickly rose up and looked around. His eyes locked into this fluffy growlithe. She had not noticed the imp.

“Bad mistake…”

Danny murmured as his eyes glowed white. He was readying his power gem attack.

“BAM! Super effective!”

But his cheering was too immediate. His move was blocked by something big and dark, and it took the hit well. Sableye’s ears jerked down when the creature towered in front of him. The shaggy dark fur fluttered in air gently.

“You little…”

The deino gave Danny a look that could pierce his diamond eyes. He was larger than any average deino and scars on his face suggested the dragon had gone through many battles. The sudden blocking of Danny’s move suggested the deino was with the growlithe. Why? They were an odd couple. Danny didn’t plan to find out. The sableye gulped quietly and took a step back.

“Don’t you dare to hurt her!”

“Holy shit!”

Danny acted on impulse and shot another power gem, hitting the deino straight in his nose.

“AAARGGH!”

For the sound of it, Danny had landed a critical hit. Must have been a weak spot. Danny didn’t care to turn around and check. The imp scurried away the second he had shot the power gem. Not the proudest moment of his life but there was no way the sableye was gonna stick around and fight a dragon that was 4 times larger than him.

Danny ran away from the fight. He was following the wagons. He was mad. Mad that RGB had left him behind. He was gonna find that cold blooded bastard and give him a piece of his mind.

I have to say, I was a bit unmotivated to do the written part. But gosh darn once I started, it was really fun to write these two. They're such an assholes. I love it.
Part 2 will be up tomorrow. And trust me, it's gonna be longer. ;D
