Birds of a Feather

Uh, too much free time at work. I literally made this just a few minutes ago.

So here are the bird brothers, Matthew and Marlowe. Wait what? Is he...? Yes, Marlowe is Matthew's (half)brother and Sibelius' dad.

Now how did he end up here? Well, I was thinking about DD comic and I knew Matthew's brother would make an appearance in the comic and I thought that I should fleshen out the character. I decided that he would be a togekiss now and gave him the name and appearance. And honestly, I fell in love with this guy so much that I couldn't help but give him a bigger role in the DD comic - this lead to a complitely new scene in the comic. He is actually making his first appearance (as togetic) pretty soon.

But yeah, Marlowe is poetic and artistic gentleman togekiss and he has his head in the clouds (literally). He suffers for an artist block quite often though. He and Matthew are very close, although Matthew wishes that Marlowe would concentrate more on his son, rather than his art. Still, Marlowe loves Sibelius and even named him after his favourite composer.

And as you can see, Marlowe is puffier than normal togekisses and he wears a monocle (like a gentleman).
