Hello everybody! This is it! It is time to announce the winner of this logo contest! First I'd like to thank you for your patience. I got extremely busy this week with work and only now I had time to sat down and wrote this journal.
Before I start, I'd like to thank you guys again for taking your time and entering this contest!
But let's get this started! First, me and the two other judges would like to give a
honorable mention prize to:
~
chombowombo's design!
We all loved the simple design and this entry works exactly like a logo should. It is informative and simple. Possibly the most official looking logo from all the entries. Chombowombo will win 50 points from this great design.
But now for the main winner.
The winner and the official Random Doom logo will be:
*
dizzyrin's design!
I think MissRinkitty wrote it herself the best. It has something from the old logo, the letter colors. The pokeball immediately tells you that Random Doom is a pokemon series and last, the cookie is a perfect little addition from RD series itself. It's colorful and I think it catches the RD spirit the best.
It's also simple enough to work in big and small scale which was very important to me. And also, it is timeless. There are no noticeable items or characters in this design. The comic changes and evolves (it will now that I am ready start working with it again) but this logo works no matter what.
Congrats to MissRinkitty! With your permission, I will be making a hi detailed version of this logo and it will be used in Random Doom series from now on.
MissRinkitty will win 500 points; A guaranteed cameo in RD's fifth chapter; a free request and of course the "honor" of being the official Random Doom logo.
Congrats to winners and thanks to everyone who entered.
Now that this contest is done. I will soon write a journal about Random Doom in general and talk about the series and what I have planned to do with it.
Are you going to edit all of your previous works that include the old logo with this new one too ?? 'Cause that would be a lot of work...
