First picture of year 2010 so we better start with something epic. This my part of art trade with Pynni and I'd like to thank him for being patient and I hope you like it.

We both decided to celebrate the release of HG and SS by making something Johto related with our characters. Here, (young) Jenna and (young) Luke and their pokemon Melissa the Meganium and Tobias the Typhlosion are at the Lake of Rage and ready to face the red gyarados.

Honestly, I'm not happy how I had to put Johto Jenna (decided to give her a new outfit) and Johto Luke (I really hope I got him right) so low and give them so little room so I'm planning to upload some sketches of them soon. But gyarados is the main star here obviously. This is a first serious attempt on one and I like how he came out.
BG is kinda boring but I didn't want to make this too complicated. I tried adding thunger and rain but it just made it more messy.

Oh that Gyrados looks fearsome, especially with that snarling face and ragged fins. The colouring and water effects are really awesome in this!

You know, I've played HeartGold AND SoulSilver of a total of 6-7 times. And I've played the beginning part where you go to Mr. Pokemon about 10 times. I TOTALLY HATE playing that part now. Don't ask people, I don't really want to explain but well, I use r4's and the games had bad files on the chip- kept freezing at rediculous points, and I couldn't predict when, unable to save, at some times= RAGE. That Gyarados looks furious too.(I spelled Gyarados successfully twice witout correcting, YAYY!!)
