RD - Veruka the Infernape by TamarinFrog RD - Veruka the Infernape by TamarinFrog
Might as well start uploading some of these.

This is the picture I am going to use in Veruka's bio.
As you can see, Veruka hasn't changed design wise. (my drawing style maybe).

Not much to say about this. I'll talk more when we get to characters that have changes in them.

Why is she named after an inverted foot wart?

She is named after a character from Charlie and the chocolate factory. Why SHE was named like that, beats me.

Ah, well, knowing Roald Dahl's sense of humour I think Veruca Salt in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was named after an unpleasant thing because she was an unpleasant child, and possibly also to suggest her parents were ignorant and chose the first name they liked the sound of instead of looking up the meaning first. Dahl tended to give all his unpleasant characters fairly unpleasant names -- like the Twits, Matilda's headmistress Ms. Trunchbull, or James's Aunts Spiker and Sponge -- but in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in particular he not only made the children unpleasant but made it clear that the parents were to blame for their children's unpleasantness, so that would tie into that theme well too.
