I'm into the theory that only those who couldn't move on bemome ghost pokemon. If that's your theory too, I'm curious to know what made each of your ghosties ghosts. I'm betting Danny just wanted a chance to coninue hunting treasure forever. Maybe Merry never found her Poffin and just couldn't move on until she did?..... Hmm just a thought. but I like it. Still I refuse to beilieve that all Pokemon become ghosts.
Out of curiosity, have you ever thought about, when Elisa dies (should that ever happen), having her come back as a Yamask? Or would that end up being too... weird (and downright creepy) to even touch the subject?
Oooh, well, what a surprise!!!! It has been some time since I've seen these guys for the last time And I must say, I like your idea quite a lot! Are Merry's eyes the only character feature that actually change, right? she's adorable with them
But though, how does ghost pokčmon "born" then? I mean, for what I always believed in, a pokčmon has a new chance of living just if they died before achieving their goals, as children or if they're guilt for something they have to fix. If that's happen, they re-born as ghosts, so it's a "reincarnation"; we can say I have an Hindu view. That actually means they do have family (maybe formed by ghost pokemon mates) and re-borned from an egg, having just a little clue about how their past lives were. But still, I think they started a new life, and not just appeared after death like normal ghosts. Plus, what determin the kind of ghost pokemon they would become? Maybe the way they died...like, if they didn't realize that, if that was an accident, if they were killed, if that was brutal... And again, their age! How is that determinate? To be coerent, starting a new life, they grow up through the normal aging (baby, child, young, teen, adult...). But it's possible they would keep a trace of mind depending on their date of death. So we could assume that Edna and Merry, dying as children or young teens, will forever keep the naivety and curiosity typical of their death age; while Danny, supposedly died a bit after, will always have a more mature way of mind (if we can actually define him "mature" ). About how Ghost Pokemon die... well, they're different from the actual ghosts! So, for what I can think of, they just have the possibility to live twice. Once their second life ends, it's over. The problem is if they can actually get killed as ghost pokemon or they gain a kind of invulnerability....but no, I don't think so. They still can be hurted and die before time...
Oh, well, that's just what I think puts nerd mode off I'm sorry if I've annoyed you, but that's a subject a little bit dark, and I can't do nothing but wonder about it! In fact, I'm quite happy to have finally say what I though about it, since it's years I make up my mind for our ghostly pokemon
Haha! The reason I went with jigglypuff was that I wanted Merry to have something from her past life self and then I realized how huge eyes she has. Then I chose the shiny one because of the eye color. Merry now has mint green eyes.
Aww! Green eyes are quite fitting. They say personality-wise, green-eyed people have a certain mystery about them. They're highly curious, intelligent and very passionate about the people they care about. ^^
so basically you're saying the died and were reborn as a ghost type rather than turn into one? because if i'm not mistaken you've explained some of their origins through parantage... also she's a shiny rotom too isn't she? so she got to carry that over^^
No she didn't. I'm not a big fan of rotom's shiny form. The reason I chose a shiny jigglypuff was that I wanted Merry to have something from her past life self and realized how huge eyes she had and immediately thought jigglypuff. Then I decided to go with the shiny one so Merry now has mint green eyes as rotom.
