Gremlin of the Diamond Caves

And now! Something completely different!

I wanted to challenge myself and I decided to practice some digital painting with a more realistic look rather than cartoon.
I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and proof that I am not a one trick pony. I am quite happy with the outcome.

So, I wanted to draw my view of a "realistic" sableye. To me, he is pokemon world's gremlin, mixed with Gollum. Thus, it always amuses me when I see people drawing him with a fur. Since sableye is a creature that can grow diamonds out of his body, I'd say his skin needs to be hard, almost mineral like. This is how I prefer my sableyes. Creepy and gremlin like!

Hope you like it! I'd love to experiment with digital painting more. I seriously need to get faster at it. Gotta practice some speed painting. And feel free to give me any tips!
